The RTM of Office 2013 release earlier than many of us Microsoft watchers had been expecting, Microsoft announced – SharePoint 2013 and Office 2013 RTM are available publically for MSDN Subscribers now!
It was suppose to release in “mid-November” but its good to have it on 24th October. This is pretty impressive turnaround (Specially for SharePointers)!
For Subscribers or Volume Licensing customers with Software Assurance will be able to download the Office 2013 applications as well as other Office products including SharePoint 2013, Lync 2013 and Exchange 2013 through the Volume Licensing Service Center by mid-November. These products will be available on the Volume Licensing price list on December 1.
For IT professionals and developers will be able to download the final version via their TechNet or MSDN subscriptions by mid-November.
So its time to get downloading and evaluating for your organizations!
